Plein Air Sac 2024 is a continuation of our 2021 pilot program that brought together Sacramento "plein air" artists to raise awareness for the genre while raising awareness for the need to increase funding for youth arts education in Sacramento.
In 2024, Youth Connections Unlimited will revive the program with an extended calendar of plein air painting days, youth art education days, and community art events.
The awareness goals of Plein Air Sac are to increase mission visibility by 300%, host 10 community painting days, and hold 3 community art events.
The youth art education goals for our 2024 season include: Hosting 8 Youth Art Education Days, providing art supplies for Sacramento area students, and partnering with local businesses to provide grants to local student artists.
The impact of reaching these goals will benefit community arts awareness, while providing direct support for underserved youth in the Sacramento region.
